By blending fruit from a sustainably farmed estate and grower vineyards in both the Wairau and Awatere valleys, Dashwood wines are a true reflection of Marlborough.

  • Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc

    Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc

    A classically Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, balanced, crisp and lively. Distinct and punchy with layered aromas of guava, gooseberry and citrus peel, underpinned with delicate floral and herbaceous notes. A concentrated palate of tropical fruits and minerality with an elegant and energetic finish.

    Winemaking

    Grapes were selected at full ripeness from Marlborough’s two winegrowing valleys; the Wairau Valley and the Awatere Valley. After harvest they were immediately pressed into stainless steel tanks, cold settled and then racked for fermentation. Yeast strains were selected to enhance the particular aromas of Sauvignon Blanc and fermentation was kept at cool temperatures to preserve fresh aromatics and fruit purity.

  • Dashwood Pinot Noir

    Dashwood Pinot Noir

    A dark ruby red colour with inviting aromas of cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry. Red fruits carry to the generous and juicy palate with hints of spice and smooth elegant tannins giving the wine length and poise. Paired perfectly with fresh pasta or smokey BBQ dishes.

    Winemaking

    Grapes were harvested from Marlborough’s two winegrowing valleys, the Wairau Valley, and the Awatere Valley at full ripeness. Once received at the winery, they are destemmed to stainless steel tanks for an extended cold soak to allow gentle extraction. Following fermentation, the wines were gently pressed off skins and put into French oak barrels for 11 months prior to blending & bottling.
